We have worked for more than two years to offer our visitors not just a unique experience, but a scientific journey that starts with our collections.
We invite you to meet all the figures we’ve discovered who were the first to embark on their travels: Cesare Poma, Lucien Leroy and Henri Papillaud, Nellie Bly, Elizabeth Bisland, Annie Londonderry, Gertrude Bell, and the Smith twins. Coming straight from the late 19th century, they’ve arrived up to the present day to allow us to share their stories with you.
We can finally reveal the identities of our three travel companions who each interpreted the theme and project in their own way, making this experience unique: Lorenzo Jovanotti Cherubini, Kristjana S Williams, and Maria Grazia Chiuri.
